Perth: Trustees of the Public Library, Museum and Art Gallery of Western Australia. 1922. 8vo, original green cloth boards (stamped in gilt and with the colours of the 28th), folding b&w photographic frontis plate, b&w plates, folding maps, b&w text illus, pp xv, 221. Spotting to boards, particularly to spine. Offsetting to endpapers. Small closed tear to the edge of the largest folding map (the the Australian Sector at the Gallipoli Peninsula). Very good condition. The history of the Western Australian battalion. Includes nominal rolls, roll of honour. The scarce first edition. (Note: although the title states Volume I, this is the only volume, complete in itself: planned subsequent books were never published.) 1st edition. Boards.
