About This Item

The Bank of California, 1969. Second Edition, Revised . Gold Cloth, Gilt. Fine. 106 pp. Standard corporate history; no mention made of the possibility of a decades-long corporate practice of divesting publicly traded stock held in the trusts it managed, to use funds to buy Bank of California - issued mortgages, to the great advantage of the bank and the great disadvantage of the beneficiaries of the trusts during the stock market boom years 1955 - 1969 [and subsequent gains thereafter].
