London: Collins Clear-Type Press, 1928 First edition. HB. Dark blue cloth, gilt titles and motif of two dancing girls, no dustjacket. Paginated in three sections: The Abbey Girls, 320pp; The Girls of the Abbey School, 327pp; The Abbey Girls Go Back to School, 314pp. With 8 coloured plates from paintings by Elsie Anna Ford (all present but bound at different pages to the contents list). Good. Darkening and marks to covers (mostly to back), dulling to spine, light rubbing to edges. Binding sound. Occasional brown spots or handling marks to margins, a few pages have dark stain to lower margins, closed edges lightly browned, 1929 gift inscription to flyleaf. A Very Good copy.
