Edges of binding rubbed, preliminary pages foxed, bookplate to the front pastedown, else this copy is in very good condition. Author's presentation copy, inscribed "Marianne Sophia Rice from her affectionate brother-in-law, George William Winchilsea, Haverholme Priory, July 10th 1851"
