New York: (The Lincoln Farm Association), 1907. First edition. Illustrated with photographs. First appearance of Tarbell's essay. A "souvenir" book for the "Lincoln Dinner of the Republican Club of the City of New York February 12, 1907." Published by The Lincoln Farm Association incorporated the year before for the purposes of "honoring and perpetuating the memory of Abraham Lincoln, the taking and holding of 110 acres of his birthplace farm, and the development and maintenance of the same." Tarbell was one of the original members of the Board of Directors. (National Park Service website). 16mo gray-green cloth with gilt-stamped front; tan buckram spine; 36pp. Cloth at spine a little soiled and rubbed and corners nicked otherwise very good.
