Includes family history, diary extracts and many appendices listing which paintings were displayed at which exhibitions. From the rear cover “William Woodhouse, a Lancashire artist, had a love for all creatures great and small. He excelled at painting animals, especially horses and dogs. He painted birds, land and seascapes and a few family portraits. Woodhouse painted many local scenes around Morecombe, Heysham and surrounding area, including the men of the bay at work.” VG nr Fine copy of a scarce title.
