Written and first publish'd in January 1709: And since reprinted with some Additions. Dated with reference to Copac. 8vo. 4.75 x 7.7 inches. [xiv] + 134 pp. Full leather covers are marked and worn at edges and corners, and detached from text-block. Spine is flaking with areas of loss at upper and lower spine-ends. End-papers attached to covers i.e. detached from text-block. Title-page is missing. Title is taken from head of text. Text-block binding is sound with slight separation at occasional gatherings. Worm damage to margin edge of last 10 pages. This work gives an account of conflict between Catholicism and Protestantism in France in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, and the emigration of the Huguenots to England and other countries.
