London: Rivingtons, 1858. Book. Good. Cloth. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Blue cloth with blindstamped decoration and title in gilt on front cover. Pale yellow endpapers. Condition: Good, with general light shelfwear and soiling to covers. Both inner joints are cracked but holding firmly. Previous owners name on front endpaper. 28pp. plus 2pp. addendum. 4 b/w illustrations including an external view of St.Bartholomews church depicting the new chancel and proposed porch designed by Edwin Nash, as well as an image of the sacrarium. St.Bartholomews Church, Sydenham was originally designed by the architect Lewis Vuilliamy in 1826-31, and later redesigned by Edwin Nash c.1858. The memorial to the late Rev.Thomas Bowdler was incorporated at the same time. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
