London: N.P., 1780. Published ca. 1780, perhaps earlier. Volume 1 of 3 only, with title page and other preliminaries absent, rendering exact title edition identification nearly impossible. Includes voyages by Byron, Wallis and Carteret. Full calf leather, probably early 19th century, with red spine label lettered Haweesworth [sic] Voyages in gilt, marbled edges, ix-xxxvi, 514 pages. Covers worn and rubbed with considerable spine chipping, text block sound, preliminaries absent through viii, first two leaves with old repairs and minimal loss of text, pages age-toned but clean, 1898 gift notation from father to daughter on front free endpaper, father's name again in pencil in outer margin of first leaf present.. Hard Cover. Poor. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
