Burgundy cloth in good condition; expertly rebacked with new endpapers, bumps to upper corner & fore edge, foxing to back of frontis & tissue guard (but frontis photo is unaffected). All plates are present, & the folding map is in excellent condition. No dust jacket. 5.75 x 8.75 in., 252 pp. + ads. Ascent of Aconcagua & attempt on Sarmiento in Tierra del Fuego. Conway was Alpine Club president 1902-04.
