New York: Scribners, 1950. First edition. Hardcover. Near fine/fair. First edition, second state with the A on copyright page, corrected error on page 21, and second state dust jacket. The jacket spine has the black title on orange section. Black boards have bumps on bottom corners. Black dust jacket, with $3.00 price on flap, is bright, has a 1 x 1-1/2 inch chip and a half-inch chip at top, 1-inch tear, and scratches and creases.
Synopsis
Across the River and Into the Trees is a novel by Ernest Hemingway. The title is derived from the last words of Confederate General Thomas J. (Stonewall) Jackson.
