Full tan cloth covered boards, xxvii, 483 pages including index, contains a 96 page collection of contemporary watercolor paintings (32 in color) by Alfred Jacob Miller, Charles Bodmer and George Carlin, maps of fur trade country on pastedowns and endpapers. Small dent to bottom edge of rear board and light bump to tip. Jacket spine is faded, moderate wear and chipping along top edge, toning to top edge of flap folds, wear to lower edge of front flap fold.
