Caption title: Anno quadragesimo septimo, Georgii III. regis., Cap. XXIV. Original printing of this Royal English Act covering fishery law and legislation, in particular permitting "importation of Salted and Pickled Salmon, and Salted dried Cod Fish from the Island of Newfoundland and the Coast of Labrador, into the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland..." Excision marks to the fold, otherwise fine. Scarce. [OCLC locates no copies of this Dublin printing (and six copies of the London printing of George Eyre and Andrew Strahan); one copy of a Grierson printing of the 1806 Act is located; O'Dea, Bibliography of Newfoundland 294].
