London: Printed by Thomas Baskett., 1745. First edition. Folio (32 x 20cm). Unbound. [2], 727-730. Woodcut coat of arms to the title page, decorative woodcut initial to the first text page, text in black letter. A very good copy with some minor toning and a little wear to the left-hand margin where once bound within a larger volume. An act prohibiting the wearing and importation of French fabrics, issued in the context of the War of Austrian Succession (1740-1748), during which England and France were in conflict.
