A sammelband of 3 separate bound acts: 1838: 285 pages, 35 page appendix, xiv index; 1839: 224 pages; 1840: 219 pages, 11 page index to laws, 110 page index to Resolutions. Brown calf leather binding. Title stamped on red and black leather spine labels. Front hinge glued. Rear hinge in good condition. Leather binding rubbed and scuffed. Outer joints cracked. First title page has light bug damage upper left edge. Moderate toning to the text. Part of the text block was trimmed resulting in minor loss of page headings. Previous owner ink stamp "Lawrence B. Custer, Attorney At Law Marietta, Georgia" on the right front flyleaf. Katherine H. Custer 1999 written below the first inscription on the right front flyleaf. Many Acts inside relate to Slavery, Railroads, Infrastructure, etc. Fair only.
