""Miss Kate E. [Harris/Hanes?] With sincere & somewhat antique affection. April 21st 1920. E.C. Benedict."" Address delivered at midnight, December 31, 1917. Account of the origins of the club, anecdotes of ""Mr. Booth."" Benedict was 84 at the time. 16 pages. Tipped in at the back is the text of a 1918 letter to ECB from Robert Todd Lincoln and another pencil note, ""Feby 1918 ECB."" Edgewear, small bumps and tears along spine. Covers spotted. Scarce copy with a scarce signature.
