New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1970. 2nd. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8x6x1. Dust jacket price clipped with some rubbing, scuffs and edgewear. Penciled price to ffep. Page lightly worn. Small stampt to bottom edge (remainder? mark) Otherwise clean and intact throughout. 3rd printing, 1970. 325 pages. This is the 2nd edition, 3rd printing (1970) of this Adirondack classic. The 4th and later printings of this edition had slight additons to the material in the afterword, which accounts for slightly different page counts between printings. The first edition came out in 1954. It is Plum Adirondack Bibliography number 58.
