London: Hodder and Stoughton. Limited Edition. Ltd. Edition #8 of 500, signed by Hugh Thompson, illustrator. Quarto in full vellum with beautiful and elaborate gilt design on the front cover, tight binding, pages bright and unsullied, the cover has a slight warp, very very faint smudging of edge, tiny tear to edge of p. 229, otherwise clean and nicely presentable. 234pp, 20 color tipped-in plates with printed tissue guards, plus numerous black and white illustrations. Nice copy. .
