Somewhat worn red cloth spine without title. Boards have some wear & damage to edges and corners. GOOD* Jacket condition: No dust jacket. ND* Contents condition: PRIVATE COPY NOT EX-LIBRARY. Neat owners name to fep. Frontis page removed. Several of the line drawings have been very carefully and attractively coloured in. Clean, crisp, tight and bright with no reading wear, a few very slight marks to text, slight darkening to margins and edges. GD.* Illustrations: A few excellent colour plates and a number of b/w line drawings within text.* Pages: 140 pp. text. ii pp. blank pages at rear.* Description: This collection contains thirteen adventure stories for boys. The first story is "The Forest Of Fear" by Arthur Groom who has two other stories in this volume. Other stories are by C.M. Drury, F.W. Gumley and Bertha Leonard plus others. The book does not contain any non-fiction or activity items. A difficult item to find.* A NEAR VG copy with some age and wear. No dust jacket.*
