Original bright maroon cloth on boards. The author married a forest officer, a member of the Indian Forest Service who had been working in India for ten years. His hobby was learning languages, seven of which he had mastered. This led him to additional service in political realms, for he was much in demand as an interpreter and arbiter among local tribes. No writing or damage to this book. 204 pp..
