About This Item
Synopsis
Damian Ward lives a peaceful life in Dayton, Ohio, sitting in his rocking chair, watching the sunset and acting like he’s old enough to look good doing it. Somehow his wife graciously puts up with him. He is a graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design. He taught for several years at Colonel White High School for the Arts and continues to do workshops with city youth. The Adventures of Captain Cur & Wonderflea is Damian’s first book. Joel Cohen and Alec Sokolow have co-authored some of Hollywood’s most memorable family movies, including Money Talks, Cheaper by the Dozen, Garfield, and Garfield 2: A Tale of Two Kitties . Cohen and Sokolow were nominated for an Academy Award for writing Toy Story . They both live in Los Angeles with their families. Ray Merritt has authored and edited five books on photography, including Full Of Grace (powerHouse, 2007) and A Thousand Hounds (Taschen, 2000). He has served as a trustee of the photography committees of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the International Center of Photography, and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; and the Norton Museum of Art, West Palm Beach, Florida, where he is the Committee Chairman.
