Random House, 1937. Hardcover. Fine/Fine. Cyrus LeRoy Baldridge. Near Fine copy in Very good dust wrapper. Pages and covers are crisp, intact and unmarked. Small tears and bumps to dust jacket corners, still remarkably preserved. James Morier wrote 'The Adventures of Hajji Baba of Ispahan in 1824, and later wrote several sequels to it. Social manners and customs of Persia described in the language of a Spanish adventure romance involving the many adventures of a nineteenth-century Persian rogue, none of which involve honest labor.
