Stamped "Fremdsprachen Biblioteck Nonnberg Salzburg" (Foreign Languages Library) on a paper attached to the pastedown, and stamped on the title page. Previous owner gift inscription dated 1894. Good condition with endpaper at front hinge split, tiny tear to decorative endpaper top edge, two inch tear to bottom edge page 169. Light dust soiling to page edges, minor toning to pages, sunning to spine, a small spot to front cover and two more to rear cover. See photos clphE
Synopsis
The Adventures of Oliver Twist is the second novel by English author Charles Dickens. The book was initially published serially from February 1837 through April 1839 in Bentley’s Miscellany, a periodical edited by Dickens. In the classic rags-to-riches story, the orphan and escapee Oliver Twist must find his way through the criminal-filled streets of London.
