Hardcover first edition, with dust jacket, published by Robson Books, 1975. The dust jacket is intact, it has been price clipped on the lower corner of the front flap. It has also been protected with a clear, removable, Brodart brand cover, so there is no further wear to report regarding the jacket besides the price clip. This is a UK edition. A collection of twelve stories of the adventures of Solar Pons, the detective created by Derleth, inspired by Sherlock Holmes character. Red cloth covered boards with the author's name and title imprinted in gold on the spine. All lettering on the spine is crisp and not rubbed or worn. The edges of the boards are not rubbed or worn, the corners are straight and not creased or bumped. No marks or other wear to the boards. Looks like a pen was dropped on the edge of page 51, there's one dot of ink at the edge of that page, just slightly bigger than the size of a period. No former ownership marks. There is a spot of residue on the inside of the front cover, looks to be the residue of the original book store price sticker. The edges of the text pages have considerable tanning, which is going to be common to this edition considering the type of paper stock that was used.
