London: Printed for Lawton Gilliver at Homer's Head against St. Dunstan's Church, Fleet Street, 1733. FIRST EDITION. Folio, 360 x 230 mms., pp. [3 4 - 8, followed by 17 recent blank leaves, recent buckram spine, marbled boards; some fraying of lower margins, but a good copy. Lyttelton, George, first Baron Lyttelton (17091773) addresses his poem to "Belinda," aka Lady Diana Spencer (17101735), who later married the Duke of Bedford; she died two years after the poem was published. Foxon L328.
