Limited Edition De Luxe. One of 250 copies signed by the publisher, this being number 95. Quarto (10 x 7 3/4 inches; 250 x 195 mm). xx, 209, [1, blank], [2, publisher's ads] pp. With twelve full color plates mounted on brown paper by Folkard, and numerous black-and-white illustrations in the text. Descriptive tissue guards with captions.
Publisher's full white cloth, stamped and illustrated with Folkard's designed in blue, black, gret and green on front board and spine. Front board and spine lettered in gilt. Top edge gilt, others uncut. Cloth a bit dust soiled and rubbed. Some minor chipping to head and tail of the spine. A bit of finger smudging and some occasional light toning. Previous owner's old ink inscription on front pastedown dated "22/10/[19]12.." Overall a very good copy.
