Brown Patterned Cloth, Gilt Lettering, Small Gilt Title Box On Front Cover With Single Fox Above, Illustrated Brown And White Endpapers In Original Yellow Slipcase. This Is A First Printing, One Of The Relatively Few By Heritage Issued During Wartime Operations. Colophon Shows It Was Designed By George Hornby, Set In Caslon Types, Printed On Worthy Paper By The Stratford Press, Binding By Russell-Rutter. Later Editions Are Clearly Different. Book Very Near Fine, Just A Trace Of Rubbing At Top And Bottom Edges Of Spine; Slipcase Dusty, Wear, A Few Small Frays At Corners.
