London: Jonathan Cape, 1966. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good +/Very Good. The interior of the book is crisp and clean, showing no marks or wear. The red covers are fresh, with light bumps to the top and bottom of the spine, but little or no wear else. The gilt spine lettering is still bright. The corners of the dust jacket flaps have shallow clips (but the price is still visible) and shows light wear. The jacket. is now in a protective plastic cover. Synopsis: Three English children, Richard, Helen and Jon, are the sole witnesses to the kidnapping of the spoiled son of the rich and famous Howard Rockerbye. Unexpectedly, the children discover the identity of the kidnapper, but can't persuade the adults to believe their story. Only by enlisting the help of the Hidden Eyes of Harlem, a city-wide network of small watchful boys, are they able to foil the criminals.
