About This Item

Georgetown, SC: Small Arms Technical Publishing Co., 1948. Book. Illus. by E. Stanley Smith. Good. Hardcover. G/none, used, grey cloth binding with red text-blocks with gilt text on spine and upper, ix, 431pp plus book ads to rear. Interior is clean except for: faint glue remains on the front paste-down as if a bookplate was removed, a color image of an elephant pasted to the front-free end paper with a pencil notation underneath that; scattered yellow highlighting; scattered green and/or red underlining; a few scattered red or green margin notes. Binding is tight. Slight shelf rubbing to exterior, black mark at top and bottom of the page edges; red inked "1948" at bottom of the spine. Although the copyright page has the date of 1948 the book does not appear to be that old to me but I have not much experience with this title..
