FE. BULFINCH, Thomas. THE AGE OF CHIVALRY. Part I: King Arthur and his Knights. Part II: The Mabinogeon. Boston: Crosby, Nichols, and Company, 1859. First edition. Color plates. 414 pp. 12mo., brown cloth stamped in blind and gilt, all edges stained red. Upper board is tenuously attached by only a single sewing thread and is very nearly off; lower (inside) hinge is cracked, though the board is still firmly attached; old repair at top of spine; several signatures partially sprung. Text is very clean. A scarce title, it is offered with all faults.
