Boston: Crosby, Nichols, Lee, and Company, 1861. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Original brown cloth binding. Title in gilt on spine. viii, 414 p.p., 2 p.p. ads. [6] plates of full colour ornately decorated illustrations with gilt borders, incl. frontispiece, all tissue guarded. Pages browned, sporadic soiling throughout. Spine is rubbed and sunned, lightly torn at tail. Small chip to front board. Otherwise in very good condition.
