Fair Condition/Good. 224 pages, last blank, credits, acknowledgements, foreword by Stephen Rosenberg, introduction by John Van Hamersveld, picture credits, bibliography note from the producer -- Richard H. Childers. Illustrated endpapers showing various airbrush accessories. The text is illustrated with over 208 pages of full coloured illustrations of various artists and techniques. White coloured boards with metallic red and blue writing on the front panel and silver writing on the spine. Rubbing to the book corners and to the head and to the heel of the spine. The white of the board has become somewhat dusty and rubbed. Dust marks to the top paper edge. Illustrated dust wrapper, by Peter Sato, with white and black writing on the front panel and black on the spine. Very minor rubbing to the top and bottom dustwrapper edges and there are a few stains as well. The white of the background has become a little dull as well. There is a small triangular crease to the top right-hand corner of the front fold over. The front hinge has started to split, the lower half of the book. A book about the quintessentially 20th century phenomena -- airbrushing as an art technique. Goes into the history and portfolios of some of airbrushing is most famous exponents -- Alberto Vargas, Bob Zoell, Peter Lloyd, Taki Ono. This is the First USA Edition. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall.
