New York: Doubleday & Co, 1968. Possible review copy as publisher has stamped on first paste down "With compliments of Doubleday & Company Inc". First edition stated on copyright page. Ex-libris bookplate glued near bottom of front end paper. No other markings. Text is clean, tight and square. Light shelf wear to heel of spine and one bumped corner but light blue boards are very clean. Jacket still has its price of $5.95 at top inside flap. Small damp stain at bottom of rear panel and wear at edges with head of spine having the most. In mylar. Basis for the film.. First American Edition. Cloth. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
