El libro fue precedido por la curatoría de "Juegos de Guerra" -exposición exhibida en la librería Metales Pesados-, en este texto aborda la compleja relación que históricamente ha existido entre el arte y la violencia. Reunió obras de los artistas Gonzalo Díaz, Juan Pablo Langlois, Patrick Hamilton, Eugenio Téllez, Claudio Correa y Andrea Goic, lo que motivó la escritura de una serie de ensayos que se tradujeron en "Alas de Plomo. Ensayos sobre arte y violencia", libro que inicia con la presentación del cruce de estas dos temáticas en el contexto internacional para derivar ciertos problemas en los textos escritos sobre cada obra.
