First ed.; 319 p., immaculate and unmarked anywhere; but blind-stampe name on front end paper; part of Carpenter's World Travel series; includes "123 Illustrations from Original Photographs and Two Maps in Colour;" front gutter cracked but volume square and text block intact; blue pictorial boards with bright gilt lettering and ornamentation are clean with slight bumping on corners and slight rubbing at crown and foot of spine.
