Cloth pp. xiv, 426 & 3 publisher's advertisements. The first edition had been privately printed. Chapters 12-22 inclusive are set in Australia. Includes First World War action. First Edition. A gift inscription (dated August '27). Spine a little faded; upper external hinge cracking, lower external hinge cracked and at some stage reaffixed with glue; extremities of cloth rubbed; a good copy.
