Foreword by author, chronology, bibliography, illustration credits, acknowledgements and index of names. Black and white photographic frontispiece, showing small photographs of Albert Einstein. The text is illustrated with over 400 black-and-white photographs, documents graphics and drawings from Albert Einstein's life. 1/4 dark red coloured cloth covered back strip with white coloured titles. 3/4 cream coloured boards with self embossed book's title to the top left hand corner of the front panel. Photographic dustwrapper with dark red and cream coloured titles to the front panel and cream coloured titles to the back strip. Title says it all. Rubbing to the lower book edges and softening of the back strip edges. Sunning to the top book edges with very light age toning of the text block edges. A little ruffling of the top dustwrapper edge with fading of the back strip and to the left hand edge of the front panel. First American Edition. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall. [6], 7 - 202, [4] pages,.
