Three pages on cockfighting, or game fowl, and its associations with prominent historical figures, its legal and moral issues, recent vice raids, and images of dueling cocks, spectators/participants. Ozzie Sweet), boxing referees, Eddie Waitkus, John McGraw, Detroit hockey, Leo Durocher, Slammin' Sam Jackson Snead, boxer Joann Hagen, Kyle Rote, Andy Pafko, horse racing, Grover Cleveland Alexander, golf fashion, smoking Kirk Douglas rear cover. This issue with variant covers, all changing the white banner headlines on the front cover, this being the only one crediting Lardner's cockfighting.
