Condition: Good, with light shelfwear to covers. Binding sound, no inscriptions. Dustjacket condition: Fair to good, with light shelfwear, repaired 3cm. tear to top of spine. 94pp. Several colour and b/w illustrations. This book illustrates the use by designers of a fabric, Alcantara, invented in Japan in the early 1970s and produced in Europe by the Eni group (an Italian chemical company). The book was produced to accompany an exhibition in Milan which included designs by Emilio Ambasz, Michael Graves, Aldo Rossi and Ettore Sottsass..
