Glasgow: Glasgow University, 1959. Soft cover. Very Good. 8vo. Edition of the student magazine of the chemistry department of Glasgow University from Februray 1959, vol. 29 no. 2. Signed by Fred Rosenfeld, business manager of The Alchemists magazine, on drop-title page. Original red wrapper with stamped illustration, staple bound, minor bumping to corners. Frontis, and 3 b&w photographs, including Professor A.R. Todd, Nobel Prize Winner 1957. Features a crossword puzzle. Established in 1916 with the aim of promoting scientific debates, and still extant today, the Alchemists' Club started producing The Alchemist magazine in 1925.
