About This Item

Robert H. Dodd, New York, bookseller's catalogue, February 1915. Printed wrappers, small 8vo,. 25 pp. Approximately 150 items. This catalogue follows an earlier (undated but 1913) catalogue issued by the firm of Dodd & Livingston and compiled by Luther S. Livingston, which offered a near-complete set of Swinburne's first editions and the autograph manuscript (of A Midsummer Holiday) for sale as a collection. Livingston died in December 1914 with the collection unsold and his partner and successor to the business Dodd lost little time in re-offering its contents through this catalogue, this time with items individually priced. The collection included a number of presentation copies and many limited editions. Wrappers slightly creased, otherwise Very Good.
