About This Item

London: MACMILLAN. Very Good+ in Near Fine dust jacket. 1986. 1st UK Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. 033341778X . A near fine book with light toning to the page edges as always found with this type of paper. Green cloth covered boards with bright gilt titling to the spine. A little light 'crushing' to the head/tail of the spine from storage, but NO damage. In a near fine d/w that is NOT price clipped, (price shown - £7.95) and only marked as 'near fine' due to one tiny chip (2mm - negligible) to the rear foot of the spine, o/w FINE. The d/j is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks FINE. No inscriptions or marks, plain cream endpapers. 191 pp. The first book in the Kinsey Millhone (Private Investigator) Alphabet Crime Series, which first appeared in the US in 1982, and which series became a great hit for the author who got wonderfully to Y, but sadly died before she could complete Z. See Images. ; The Kinsey Millhone Alphabet Series; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
