Original blue cloth hardback binding, with a little general wear, spine faded to buff, boards with light fading to edges. Contents clean and tight, no inscriptions, slight spotting to page edges. A very good copy. Very scarce. This is a rollicking sea story of the days of Pitt and Pompadour, when the press-gang was abroad in the land, and privateers were the scourge of the seas. The story of a ship in a convoy during the French War, a ship carrying passengers of high and low degree..
