Black Cloth Covers with Dulled Gilt Lettering to Spine; Covers are lightly soiled; White Endpapers; lower edges of front and rear endpapers have some small stained areas along extreme edges from exposure to moisture; lower edges of first 14 and last 20 pages of text have a very narrow line of cover bleed at bottom page edge near spine gutter; book interior is otherwise clean, bright and tight; small 8vo; 134 pages; dustjacket is protected by a mylar wrapper and is fairly clean and bright; spine panel of dustjacket has a small blue dot below title, and there is a tiny black smudge below publisher's logo at bottom of spine panel; upper edge of rear dustjacket panel has a small closed tear; lower right corner of front dustjacket panel is lightly rubbed at fold edge and top edge has a short closed tear

Synopsis

All the King's Men is a novel by Robert Penn Warren, first published in 1946. The novel's title is drawn from the nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty. In 1947 Warren won the Pulitzer Prize for All the King's Men. It was adapted for film in 1949 and 2006; the 1949 version won the Academy Award for Best Picture.
