About This Item

Traverse City: Village Press. Very Good. 1977. Limited Edition. Hardcover. Stories of the people and events that contributed to the history of this region including railroads, ships, murders, city fathers and more. Replete with many b&w photos, this is the SIGNED LIMITED EDITION (#1106/2000) in the original publisher's blue cloth binding with silver cover and spine lettering. There is a previous owner's inscription on the front blank end paper. Includes illustrated end papers, a bibliography and appendicies. I have seen these both with and without a slipcase: this one does not have a slipcase; no dust jacket, as issued. There is a slight crease to the upper corner of the front inside pastedown (but no crease to the actual cover itself), else this is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no other interior or exterior markings, and no bookplates. ; B&W Illustrations; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 288 pages .
