London: Joseph Cundall, 1844. First edition. Hardcover. Good. approx. 90 pages. 5 x 6 3/4 in. One illustration for each letter in brown and light brown ink, each illustration protected by an extra sheet. Red cloth binding, gilt lettering on cover, edges of text block marbled. Condition of the book is GOOD: wear to covers, corners highly worn, dent in rear cover, cloth spine missing, soiling to covers, small tear to title page, light foxing on a few pages, binding fine- one blank page loose.
