An extensive guide describing the flora of alpine regions. The second series of this work.Written by botanist David Wooster.Complete in two volumes.Bound in the publisher's original charming pictorial cloth. Each volume is complete with fifty-four colour plates.A beautiful and colourful botanical work. In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally very smart, with just a little bumping to the head and tail of the spine, resulting in a touch of discolouration to the cloth; a very small amount of loss to the spine of volume II. Ownership bookplate and inscription to the front pastedown and endpaper respectively. Internally, generally firmly bound, with a little straining to the hinges, which remain firm. Pages have the occasional instance of spotting, but are otherwise bright. Very Good
