New York: Knopf, 1985. First edition. Burgundy cloth in dust jacket; 8vo. 76 pp. Number 19 in the Knopf Poetry Series, the author's fourth collection. Fine in a fine DJ. McDonald who began her artistic career as an opera singer was a late starter as a poet. She founded with Stanley Plumly one of the great creative writing programs at the University of Houston where she was the long-time director. She died in August 2015 at 87.
