About This Item
London: Cassell and Company, 1939. Digest-sized paperback, 155 pages including 76 black-and-white drawings and photographs; gently used, tight in binding, light creasing and rubbing to covers, but time has worn away the spine backing at top and bottom also resulting in tears to covers at hinges, some faded old waterstaining along bottom edge visible in bottom margins of about 20 pages, child's pencil markings on three blank pages, all text pages otherwise very clean and unmarked. See also our listings for Home Repair and Improvement, Set of 2 Books: Advanced Masonry, and Masonry, published by Time-Life), and for a more ambitious project, Chas Reynolds' Examples of the Design of Reinforced Concrete Buildings, or this, just in, M. Smolira's classic (and my favourite bedtime reading) Analysis of Structures: The Analysis of Statically-Indeterminate Structures by the Deformation Method.. Soft Cover. Good.
