In 1925 Scientific American published an article about a group of amateurs, in Springfield, VT, who, with the help of one serious scientist built a serious telescope. 368 readers requested information on how to do it...which led to a pamphlet...which led to this book - 510 indexed pages illustrated with diagrams and black and white photos, that is the bible of amateur telescope builders.
